More than just a home.

Where you choose to live is about much more than just square feet or number of bathrooms. The neighborhood determines your commute time (in LA especially), where your kids go to school, what restaurants you frequent and so much more.

We focus on real estate in this quadrant of LA because it's what we love and know you will too.

Burbank

Just 12 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, and seven miles northeast of Hollywood, Burbank is billed as the "Media Capital of the World" with numerous media and entertainment companies either headquartered or having significant production facilities in Burbank, including The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Nickelodeon and NBC. The city is also home to the Hollywood Burbank Airport – by far the easiest and most convenient airport in the region. Known for its award-winning public school district and small-town feel, Burbank attracts families from all over the Los Angeles region.

A few favorites:

  • Chandler Bike Path - A well-maintained, 2.8 mile-long exercise path built on top of the old Burbank Branch of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company Railroad.

  • Magnolia Park Shopping and Arts District- A vibrant neighborhood in the flatlands of Burbank with an ever growing number of restaurants and shops, specializing in vintage finds.

  • Downtown Burbank - Shopping, restaurants, movie theaters and a Saturday farmer's market make it a good place for an evening stroll.

  • Stough Canyon Nature Center – Hike in the Verdugo mountains with stunning views over the valley.

Glendale

Reaching from downtown up across the Verdugo mountains, Glendale is the third largest city in Los Angeles county with a variety of neighborhoods and people to prove it. Glendale is home to a number of large corporations and entertainment industry titans including DreamWorks Animation and the U.S. headquarters of Nestlé. From the foothills to the flatlands, there are many great attractions, restaurants, parks and shops that make Glendale a wonderful place to call home.

A few favorites:

  • The Americana at Brand - A large upscale outdoor shopping mall and residential community. Great for kids to ride the trolley and throw coins in the fountain.

  • Glendale Community College Flea Market – The third Sunday of every month hosts this small but interesting flea market that can be easily navigated in an afternoon.

  • Brand Park – A beautiful park at the foothills of the Verdugo mountains with playgrounds, a library and art center and a Japanese tea garden.

  • Kenneth Village – A perfect one-block-long slice of Americana Main Street tucked into a residential neighborhood in the hills.

Hollywood

No longer "Hollywoodland," the iconic Hollywood sign overlooks this historic neighborhood that has led the entertainment industry for the past century. Part gritty, part glamourous and everything in between, Hollywood has a little bit of something for everyone - in real estate and beyond.

A few favorites:

  • Runyon Canyon – Celebrity sighting galore at this moderate hike up the east side of the Santa Monica mountains. Bring water and a hat as trees are scarce but views abound.

  • Hollywood Forever Cemetery Film Screenings – A movie theater like no other. Pack a picnic and grab a bottle of wine to enjoy a (creepy?) night under the stars.

  • Lake Hollywood Park – Dog park in the hills with a fantastic view of the Hollywood sign and a small playground for kids. It can be difficult to find, so definitely program the GPS to get there.

  • Hollywood Farmer’s Market – A huge farmer’s market every Sunday morning with the best in California fresh produce, meats and eggs; prepared foods and gifts.

Eastside LA

There is much debate about where, officially, is the ‘Eastside’ of Los Angeles. Some would say anything east of La Brea, while others would argue that the nothing west of the river counts. For our purposes, the Eastside includes neighborhoods in the east and central-east of Los Angeles - a group of vibrant and historically-significant neighborhoods that are growing in real estate popularity each year, each with its own story and favored neighborhood pockets and attractions.  These neighborhoods include:

  • Los Feliz

  • Silver Lake

  • Echo Park

  • Atwater Village

  • Mount Washington

  • Eagle Rock

  • Highland Park

  • Glassell Park

  • Altadena

  • And beyond...
